What can i do to make my hair straight?

my hair after i take a shower it goes so curly after it dries.. i really dont have the time to straighten it. and i have gone to a hair dresser and they say my hair is to thick. when i have the time to straighten it. my straightener makes it dry fellin.


what could i dont to make it more relaxed.. so its straighter..

Put in a leave in conditioner like ones from garnier, cuz i use it and it helps with split ends.

well if you like the way your hair looks when its wet you should put gel in it before your hair dries and it will stay like it was (i used to do that before i got my hair permantly straightened)

Reply:I have super curly hair and I usually wear it straight. Here is what I do:


1. I use a straight hair shampoo.


2. After my shower, I use some leave-in conditioner and flat iron spray and I blow dry it almost right away. What makes curly hair curly is the fact that it absorbs water more than straight hair. So you HAVE to get the water out fast!


3. Then I use a flat iron. You pretty much have to in order to get curly hair straight.





I know that there are some more products on the market, I%26#039;m going to get some Garnier Anti-Humidity styling cream for the summer to see if it helps my hair stay straight. Also, you need a good straightener. Make sure you get a high quality one, they are less likely to dry your hair out and stuff.
Reply:Make time to straighten it and turn down the heat on your straightener. I blow dry my hair straight in the morning and It stays straight all day. Maybe get some repairing shampoo if your hair is damaged from your straightener. When I let me hair air dry it gets wavy and it looks bad so I have to blow dry it so it%26#039;s straight. Then I can do what I want with it because it%26#039;s more manageable. Hope I helped. Good luck!

Reply:I%26#039;ve been a stylist for 28 years, their is a presses called CHI,its the best way to straighten your hair,most jcpenney salons do this service,it can quite expensive.Oprah has her hair done the CHI way,it wont dry your hair out,in fact its in better shape after.
