What kind of hair product do I need?

I am looking for something to control frizzy, curly hair. My hair is not damaged really it is just naturally very frizzy and curly. And I have tried products like Frizz Ease and it just left me with a thick residue in my hair after I dried it. I need some help! Thanks! ^.-

get some bed head control freak serum. you can put it in damp or dry hair. but i recommend putting it in when your hairs wet.

Reply:herbel essences for frizz dood!
Reply:Use Pantene Curl Definition Shampoo, Conditioner and Mousse. AND don%26#039;t DRY your hair with a hairdryer ~ let it dry naturally in the air.

I don%26#039;t really have frizzy hair - but I didn%26#039;;t like Frizz Ease either. I love these products by Pantene - they really do what they say they do %26quot;define curls%26quot; cause you can%26#039;t really get rid of the curl in your hair unless you spend hours blowdrying it straight !!!
Reply:herbal essence
Reply:Use Garnier Fructis Curl and shine shampoo and conditioner. It helps trust me! And for those days when your friz is really out of control aply a dime size amount of frizz control cream. Just rub it smoothley back through your hair. Another thing you could try is a tiny bit of olive oil.
Reply:There is a great and inexpensive line of haircare for frizz at Sally%26#039;s called ION
Reply:Try Aveda%26#039;s Smoothing Fluid. It%26#039;s a little expensive, but well worth it. Aveda.com or a store. It just takes a dab!

The hair on the back of my head won't grow. Why??

I am a black guy and I have this Statue of Liberty kinda thing goin on. The hair towards the front of my head is pretty long like 7-9inches but the hair on the back of my head is only like 4 inches. I haven%26#039;t had a haircut in several months, in fact i think over a year.

Wow, the first reverse afro mullet.
Reply:Do you lay on your back when you sleep, maybe thats why.
Reply:I think you have hair losses. That is when you grow old. Or go to a store and ask for medicine
Reply:whew reverse mullet. congrats =]
Reply:signs of early balding?
Reply:Do you shave or pluck it? If not I suggest an elton john job. 3k and you have hair:)
Reply:Have a doctor look at it.
Reply:If it is thinning, I am told Bosley is pretty good, but expensive (www.bosley.com). Mine is starting to thin and I am going to look into it as soon as I can afford to do so.
Reply:Depends on your age. You could be balding. Or a thinning of the hair may be the reason. Or the rate at which it grows. If it%26#039;s only just started doing this then go visit a doctor...or a hairdresser/barber.
Reply:Most folks who sleep mainly on their backs have a hard time growing their hair longer in the back. My hairdresser told me this when I asked why it was taking so long to grow my hair out. The new growth seemed to be growing well on top, but it didn%26#039;t seem to be getting much longer. Try sleeping on your sides or stomach. Changing sleeping habits is hard, but if you can%26#039;t then you will just have to live with your hair not growing back there.

How to repair damaged hair?
Put some oil in your hair and let it sit for 1 hour+. Then shampoo it out. Do this about once a week, it will add moisture.

Also do not wash your hair more than you need to, that dries it out.
How to repair damaged hair?
There is no way to repair hair. It%26#039;s dead.

All you can do is protect it and get it trimmed regularly until the damage grows out.

Keep it trimmed every 6 weeks, because like branches, once the ends split the rest of the length becomes much more vulnerable to splitting over time UNLESS the split end is trimmed and/or sealed. The ends are the most vulnerable and while oils and things help a little there is no substitute for regular trims.

Never style your hair using heat unless it is well coated with mousse, gel, or oil. If your hair is already damaged, any heat is going to make it worse. Never use an iron on wet hair or a very hot hair dryer on really wet hair鈥his is what the warm setting is for. Use a comb on your hair to comb it out instead of a brush, especially if it鈥檚 wet. In fact, if your hair is short enough, try to comb it thru with your fingers instead of a comb when it has conditioner in it and don鈥檛 comb it again until it is dry.

Most hairstylists only wash their hair every 1-2 weeks. This is because washing your hair is bad for it. They avoid getting the oily look by applying gels, mousses, or similar products into their roots and working it outwards as they comb it. Mousse works the best for me, but I still wash my hair every three days.

There are no magic products that will fix hair, but a billion dollar industry keeps making us think otherwise. Products can only protect and hide existing damage in your hair and nothing more.
Reply:Pantene Pro-V restoritives are great. It%26#039;s mainly for girls but guys can use it too cause my brother uses it. It repairs damged hair within 2 weeks! Hope I helped.
Reply:Olive oil works just heat up some in a cup in the microwave for about 20 secs and comb into your hair and rinse out with shampoo. Do it once or twice a week or how much needed.

Or you can just pick up some vo5 hot oil treatment that works too.
Reply:Hello damaged hair,

The first thing I would recommend is a hair vitamin. I like Ultra Hair. Healthy hair starts from the inside. It is a reflection of our health. Also with the vitamins your damaged hair is going to grow out faster. Women are depleted monthly of vitamin B%26#039;s that are very important for our hair, skin and nails.

There are basically two types of conditioners, a protein which can be drying to your hair but is very necessary to strengthen the hair. The moisturizer is to help of couse put moisture back in. Alternate the two. If you shampoo on Sunday use a protein conditioner. Monday, the moisturizing conditioner and so on. Another great tip is to always use a large tooth comb to comb the conditioner through the ends. Leave in at least five minutes, rinse, squeeze dry with towell only. Use a leave in conditioner on ends using a large tooth comb to remove snarls. Dry with a cool dryer only or allow to dry natural. If you use a iron , use a heat protectant on dry hair. Keep your ends trimmed every six weeks. Good-Bye damaged hair!! Works everytime.

Reply:Look up Sarah Jessica Parker on Google. I think it was like Season 5 or 6, and she had her hair like that. I took that picture to a stylist, and she was able to create it. I also have curly hair, but it is shorter, like chin length.

Is it a formal dance or more casual? Keep your hair down and straighten it. If it%26#039;s naturally straight keep it down and curl the ends.
