What kind of hair product do I need?

I am looking for something to control frizzy, curly hair. My hair is not damaged really it is just naturally very frizzy and curly. And I have tried products like Frizz Ease and it just left me with a thick residue in my hair after I dried it. I need some help! Thanks! ^.-

get some bed head control freak serum. you can put it in damp or dry hair. but i recommend putting it in when your hairs wet.

I don%26#039;t really have frizzy hair - but I didn%26#039;;t like Frizz Ease either. I love these products by Pantene - they really do what they say they do %26quot;define curls%26quot; cause you can%26#039;t really get rid of the curl in your hair unless you spend hours blowdrying it straight !!!
Reply:herbal essence
Reply:Use Garnier Fructis Curl and shine shampoo and conditioner. It helps trust me! And for those days when your friz is really out of control aply a dime size amount of frizz control cream. Just rub it smoothley back through your hair. Another thing you could try is a tiny bit of olive oil.

The hair on the back of my head won't grow. Why??

I am a black guy and I have this Statue of Liberty kinda thing goin on. The hair towards the front of my head is pretty long like 7-9inches but the hair on the back of my head is only like 4 inches. I haven%26#039;t had a haircut in several months, in fact i think over a year.

Reply:Have a doctor look at it.
Reply:If it is thinning, I am told Bosley is pretty good, but expensive (www.bosley.com). Mine is starting to thin and I am going to look into it as soon as I can afford to do so.
Reply:Depends on your age. You could be balding. Or a thinning of the hair may be the reason. Or the rate at which it grows. If it%26#039;s only just started doing this then go visit a doctor...or a hairdresser/barber.
Reply:Most folks who sleep mainly on their backs have a hard time growing their hair longer in the back. My hairdresser told me this when I asked why it was taking so long to grow my hair out. The new growth seemed to be growing well on top, but it didn%26#039;t seem to be getting much longer. Try sleeping on your sides or stomach. Changing sleeping habits is hard, but if you can%26#039;t then you will just have to live with your hair not growing back there.

How to repair damaged hair?
Put some oil in your hair and let it sit for 1 hour+. Then shampoo it out. Do this about once a week, it will add moisture.

Also do not wash your hair more than you need to, that dries it out.
How to repair damaged hair?
There is no way to repair hair. It%26#039;s dead.

All you can do is protect it and get it trimmed regularly until the damage grows out.

Keep it trimmed every 6 weeks, because like branches, once the ends split the rest of the length becomes much more vulnerable to splitting over time UNLESS the split end is trimmed and/or sealed. The ends are the most vulnerable and while oils and things help a little there is no substitute for regular trims.

Never style your hair using heat unless it is well coated with mousse, gel, or oil. If your hair is already damaged, any heat is going to make it worse. Never use an iron on wet hair or a very hot hair dryer on really wet hair鈥his is what the warm setting is for. Use a comb on your hair to comb it out instead of a brush, especially if it鈥檚 wet. In fact, if your hair is short enough, try to comb it thru with your fingers instead of a comb when it has conditioner in it and don鈥檛 comb it again until it is dry.

Most hairstylists only wash their hair every 1-2 weeks. This is because washing your hair is bad for it. They avoid getting the oily look by applying gels, mousses, or similar products into their roots and working it outwards as they comb it. Mousse works the best for me, but I still wash my hair every three days.

There are no magic products that will fix hair, but a billion dollar industry keeps making us think otherwise. Products can only protect and hide existing damage in your hair and nothing more.
Reply:Pantene Pro-V restoritives are great. It%26#039;s mainly for girls but guys can use it too cause my brother uses it. It repairs damged hair within 2 weeks! Hope I helped.
Reply:Olive oil works just heat up some in a cup in the microwave for about 20 secs and comb into your hair and rinse out with shampoo. Do it once or twice a week or how much needed.

Or you can just pick up some vo5 hot oil treatment that works too.
Reply:Hello damaged hair,

The first thing I would recommend is a hair vitamin. I like Ultra Hair. Healthy hair starts from the inside. It is a reflection of our health. Also with the vitamins your damaged hair is going to grow out faster. Women are depleted monthly of vitamin B%26#039;s that are very important for our hair, skin and nails.

There are basically two types of conditioners, a protein which can be drying to your hair but is very necessary to strengthen the hair. The moisturizer is to help of couse put moisture back in. Alternate the two. If you shampoo on Sunday use a protein conditioner. Monday, the moisturizing conditioner and so on. Another great tip is to always use a large tooth comb to comb the conditioner through the ends. Leave in at least five minutes, rinse, squeeze dry with towell only. Use a leave in conditioner on ends using a large tooth comb to remove snarls. Dry with a cool dryer only or allow to dry natural. If you use a iron , use a heat protectant on dry hair. Keep your ends trimmed every six weeks. Good-Bye damaged hair!! Works everytime.

Humid...........?

why does humidity make your hair frizzy??

and how can i prevent this from happening?
Humid...........?
something about the wetness makes your hair frizzy. its almost like if your hair was wet and you didnt brush or comb it or anything. i have really striaght hair and sometimes a lightweight hair gel can help prevent a little bit of the friz. just make sure that its combed evenly through your hair and not too heavy. then it will look weighed down
Humid...........?
First shampoo with a silicone based S%26amp;C but make sure every week you are cleansing it.

Then blow dry, repeatedly. Humidity acts when your hair has moisture, blow drying will remove the moisture the humidity contacts with.

Then use a de-frizzing serum with silicone and then style as usual.

What is -exstacy-?

a drug
What is -exstacy-?
A pill teenagers, or careless adults use to get high off life. Its very dangerous, and you can die trying it for the first time.
What is -exstacy-?
ectasy?

a crazy bad drug
Reply:good stuff
Reply:Synonym: Delight, Bliss
Reply:This is a drug that is normally used in clubs they make you very high and will scerw up your whole life forever
Reply:Pretty much God. %26lt;3

And its ecstasy by the way.
Reply:BWAHAHAHAH why is this in the hair category?!
Reply:Rave drug that can heighten your sense of pleasure through touching, big pupils and most need a pacifier to keep from grinding their teeth and all that.... after the high.. you%26#039;d usually go into a depressed state.. and not wanna do anything... don%26#039;t risk it... to many things to do in life to worry about that stuff....
Reply:First of all, it%26#039;s spelled ecstasy. And it%26#039;s a psychedelic drug that%26#039;s usually in pill form. It makes you feel really happy and like nothing is wrong in the world. Everything feels amazing (like being touched or touching others) and it dilates your pupils, so lights are extremely intense and fun to look at.

Usually people take ecstasy at raves or clubs because it prevents you from feeling pain and gives you energy for hours, so you can dance all night long without getting tired. It is commonly known as the %26quot;love drug%26quot; or the %26quot;hug drug%26quot; because it makes people very open with each other and very loving and affectionate.

The downsides of ecstasy are that it makes you very dehydrated and grind your teeth uncontrollably. Since you can%26#039;t feel pain, it%26#039;s hard to tell when you%26#039;re dehydrated, and some people even overhydrate themselves from drinking way too much water. Because of the teeth grinding, people usually chew gum or suck on binkies. Also, taking too many pills affects memory and brain function, and can also cause severe depression days after taking the pills.

If you%26#039;re planning on trying it, know your source because often it is cut with speed, ketamine, or other illegal substances. Try to buy the purest MDMA possible.

And don%26#039;t overdo it!

Hope that helps!
Reply:It is a drug, for careless people.

My bestfriend is all into it now, and

ive tried to tell her shes being dumb

but she wont listen to me. So shes

being a complete dumbass. Shes

losing all her friends too.

But anyway, it sympathetically puts

holes in your brain. %26quot;Rolling%26quot; taking

the drug, it kills brain cells. Many.

And when you take this, you must

stay hydrated! Or you could die from

it because it dehydrates you.

And you can get addicted to it.
Reply:Ecstacy is a drug also known as methylededioxymethamphetamine or MDMA and it is a stimulant that is sometimes %26quot;cut%26quot; or has other chemicals added to it to make it cheaper or increase the high. It is a synthetic psychotropic drug which mans it can cause hallucinations as well as the stimulating properties.

Unfortunately there is a broad misconcepion about the drug because a large number of users don%26#039;t even consider it a drug. It has been around for about 30 years or so. There are dangerous side effects aside from the ones already mentioned, probably the most dangerous is dehydration, and the tendancy to spike a high fever that can be fatal and changes in blood pressure. Some say that it can help with mental disorders and that it is not addictive but that%26#039;s also what they said about LSD in the 60%26#039;s.

so i have this really big party that im going to. and i need to dress rock and roll. does anyone have any ideas for a good rockstar hairstyle? i have long blonde hair, not really any bangs, and a little bit of layers. i would prefer not to die it or cut it or anything.

Put some spikes or make it look stringy or look like you just rolled outta bed.

Reply:Demi Lovato%26#039;s hairstyle with bangs looks really rocking :]
Reply:Get a few bottles of hairspray, put your head upside down, spray aaaaaaal over your head at the roots with the spray until your hairs pretty much all covered, then either wait for it to dry or blow dry it which works much better and put your head back the right way. Your hair will be so big and poofy it looks so cool (: then get a brush and lightly brush the messy bits into place, so it dosent look like you just woken up but it looks Rockstar-ish :d
Reply:u could try straightening it. (i mean bone straight!!!) with a side part or a faux hawk and if u want a bit of color, u could get some temporary hair dye. Or, if u want something else, u could always go with the bedhead look!

Reply:I would have it cut in a cute layered bob for summer. This style flatters everyone. It can be worn with or without bangs and be anywhere from chin to just above shoulder length. It is also easy to grow back out without any awkward stages. It can look cute and be off your back at the same time!

Doing it by Yourself?

Going to the Salon?

Tips About Today%26#039;s Styles

Always Popular Hairstyles

Doing it by Yourself?

Straightening your hair before doing any styling will make the styling easier, especially if you wish to have clean fresh curls. This season, the curls are little and tight.

Part your hair on top of your head to %26quot;glamour up%26quot; an ordinary hairstyle.

If your hair is dry, run conditioner (about a dime/nickel size depending on thickness of hair) through your hair to eliminate frizz. This really works and won%26#039;t make your hair crispy like mouse or spray.

If you are not sure which products to use and you are on a budget, try Herbal Essence. It smells fabulous and works all hair types.

Going to the Salon?

Make an appointment at least 2 weeks in advance.

Bring a picture of the hairstyle you want, and know exactly what you are expecting.

Communicate with the stylist to make sure there are no misunderstandings.

Wear a button down shirt so you don%26#039;t ruin all that hard work when you go to get dressed.

Expect to spend at least $30 - $65.

Don%26#039;t stress out if it doesn%26#039;t turn out exactly how you wanted it to.

Tips About Today%26#039;s Styles

STRAIGHT hair is in, but so are CURLS. Natural tone highlights are out. Instead, streak your tips or underneath of hair with a metallic purple, wine red or other loud color for the trendy retro look.

Prom is that one special night you want to remember as perfect, therefore your hair may become your worst enemy - if it is not already. So first off, you must remember %26quot;not to fret about the small stuff.%26quot; If all else fails, straighten your hair for a sleek and glamorous look, wear a delicate headband with rhinestones, or tie your hair up and add babies breath to make it appear professional. Another popular fashion style that always works is the traditional French twist.

Always Popular Hairstyles

If you do not trust others with your hair or simply do not no what style to choose from, follow the guide below to find an always popular and do-able hairstyle.... not to mention easy - and best of all...cheap.

The CLASSIC girl will brush her hair back in a tight ponytail leaving a small section of the pony tail underneath. Wrap what was left out around the pony tail holder. Use bobby pins to secure the loose hair, but try to keep them hidden. Remember that the tighter the hair, the less you will have to spend time restyling later that night when you%26#039;re having fun. Don%26#039;t make the ponytail either too high or too low, and use a little bit of hair spray - sleek it down with your fingertips to decrease any flyways.

If you want to go for the GIRLIE look, start with a small part to the side. Brush your hair back and to the opposite side of the part (below your ears). Tie your hair back on the side with a cute ponytail holder that matches your dress, and let your hair fall over the front of your shoulders. You can brush out some of the hair from the top so that it is loose and has volume. For those that have layers, let the shorter ends fall loose but keep them all to one side.

ROMANTIC is always a popular look for prom. The traditional style is to pull half of your hair up form your ears to the top of your head. Tie the hair back in a ponytail and divide the hair into small or large section (whichever you prefer). Twist the sections and tie them up, leaving the tips loose to flutter. Then secure with bobby pins (the more the better, as long as they are concealed). Leave the rest of your hair hanging straight (use a straightening iron if your hair is naturally wavy or curly) and use conditioner to eliminate frizz.

or the other way around which one is easier!!!

How do you switch to a lighter shade of haircolor without using bleach?

I know that color cannot lift color. I%26#039;m naturally a level 7 so I should be able to go to a 9 without a problem, but since my hair is colored (I currently use an 8) I%26#039;m afraid it won%26#039;t lift. I don%26#039;t want to bleach all of my hair because bleach blonde is not the look I want. Would a high lift blonde work? I also wondered how long I would have to wait before my current color would be considered worn off so I could start using a lighter one. Any help appreciated.
How do you switch to a lighter shade of haircolor without using bleach?
you would have to use bleach but its not like you have to leave it on till your hair turns white.Keep watch for the shade you want then wash it out.
How do you switch to a lighter shade of haircolor without using bleach?
Is the current color on your hair a semi-permanat color? If not it will not wear off. Keep it trimmed and conditioned. When you see an inch or two of new growth, it is safe to color again, just color the roots first and pull color to the ends of the hair for the last 10 minutes. It will all look the same. Perhaps mix a stronger peroxide with the color to achieve a lighter shade.
